Step #1.

Press the Windows key on your keyboard or click on the windows icon in the lower left hand corner of your desktop to bring up the start menu.

Here you will see a tile named “Office”.

After launching the Office application it will begin configuring setup files as depicted in this image.

Step #2.

Office will now show you what the subscription expiration date will be along with the version of Office you are about to activate. 

Press the “Activate” button in the lower right hand corner of the application to begin the installation.

Step #3.

You will then be asked to sign into your Microsoft account.

If you do not have a Microsoft account you will need to create one.

Click Here to create a new Microsoft account.

Step #4.

Select from the drop down options your Country and language.

Then click “Continue”.

Office will now begin setting up your account.

Step #5.

From your account you will be shown a list of software linked with your account.  select  the “Install” option for the version of Office you are trying to install.

Office will now begin installing all the components associated with the application.  

Please do not shut down or put the computer to sleep during the installation process as this could corrupt the installation.

Step #6.

Office will show a message that it is being installed in the background.

Click “Next” to continue.

Step #7.

Office will prompt you with information about One Drive. 

One Drive is Microsoft’s cloud storage service which allows users to save data and access it from other devices.

Click “Next” to continue.

Step #8.

Here there will be a drop down menu with some theme options for you to choose from. 

Select a theme you like from this selection.

Click “Next” to continue.

Step #9.

Here you will be prompted to take a look at new features and options in the new versions of Office applications.  

Click “No thanks” to continue.

Step #10.

Office is now installed and ready to use. 

Click “All done” to finish the installation.

Office applications will now be found in the start menu or by searching the computer for applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.

You will find your applications listed on your start menu by pressing the windows key or clicking the windows icon on the lower left hand corner of your screen.
